E for Good

In 2011, I set up E For Good, with Melinda Watson .We’re campaigning to reduce the amount of electrical waste (e-waste) as well as setting up systems to increase repair, reuse and efficient recycling. This is the focus of my work in 2012.

Key projects in this area, include:

  • Jupiter Global Green Investment Trust:  Between 2001 and 2006 I was a Non-Executive Director. There were two main principles for investments.  The first was to identify companies that were producing, developing or promoting green products and services.  And the second were ‘best in class’ companies, which were sustainability leaders in their sector.  In 2006 the fund was rolled into a new investment trust, with a new board of directors.
  • Numis Investment Bank:  In 2008, I helped them to identify potential investment opportunities in renewable and clean technologies.
  • Triodos Bank:  Voted most sustainable bank of the year, they asked me to make a key note presentation at their AGM.  I’ve worked closely with MD of Triodos, Charles Middleton, because he chaired Haller, the charity I co-founded, between 2007 and 2011.
