E for Good

In 2011, I set up E For Good, with Melinda Watson .We’re campaigning to reduce the amount of electrical waste (e-waste) as well as setting up systems to increase repair, reuse and efficient recycling. This is the focus of my work in 2012.

  • The New Green Consumer Guide:  Writing The New Green Consumer Guide, which was published in 2007, nearly 20 years on from the original Green Consumer Guide, made me realise how much has changed in the intervening period.  In 1988 green issues were moving our of the fringe into the mainstream, but in the more recent edition, the challenge was to help people through the myriad of choices and conflicting information.



  • Financial Times:  I started writing for FT House & Home.  My first article, co-written with Fiona Harvey in March 2011 was about Feed in Tariffs – click here for link.  The second one was on Eco-technologies at home – Electric Green .  It was published in June 2011.   My most recent article, published in 2012 was about eco-renovating my London flat.
