I’ve bought an eco-duvet (aug18)

I haven’t actually used it yet because it’s for new bedroom in the barn. But if it’s good I might buy some more for the new development. It comes from the Fine Bedding Company

The main eco-credentials are that the duvet is made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, in the form of PET plastic bottles and it has a recycled micro-fibre cover too. Not so keen on their claim re ‘recyclable box’ as it’s simply cardboard. Makes me wonder if that’s made of recycled material too.

Apparently they use 120 bottles for a 10.5 tog double duvet.

The really good thing is that we need more products using recycled materials, particularly when they’re actually replacing a virgin resource.
